1757 — Battle of Breslau (1757)
The Battle of Breslau (also known as the Battle on the Lohe) was fought on 22 November 1757 in Breslau (now Wrocław, Poland) during the Third Silesian War (part of the Seven Years' War). A Prussian army of 28,000 men fought an Austrian army of 60,000 men. The Prussians held off the Austrian attack, losing 6,000 men to the Austrians' 5,000 men.

The Ontario general election of 1951 was held on November 22, 1951, to elect the 90 members of the 24th Legislative Assembly of Ontario (Members of Provincial Parliament, or "MPPs") of the Province of Ontario, Canada. The Ontario Progressive Conservative Party, led by Leslie Frost, won a fourth consecutive term in office, increasing its caucus in the legislature from 53 in the previous election to 79—a solid majority. The Ontario Liberal Party, led by Walter Thomson, lost six seats, but regained the role of official opposition because of the collapse of the CCF vote.

1963 — Battle of Hiep Hoa
The Battle of Hiep Hoa was a minor battle of the Vietnam War. On the night of November 22, 1963, an estimated 500 Vietcong fighters overrun the Hiep Hoa Special Forces Camp, resulting in four American personnel MIA. South Vietnamese commando units and the American special operation forces resisted heavily using machine guns but were overwhelmed by the arrival of a NVA mortar unit. It was the first CIDG camp to be overrun during the war. Isaac Camacho, one of the four missing Americans, later became the first American to escape from a Vietcong POW camp.

1975 — Drummuckavall ambush
The Drummuckavall ambush was an attack by the South Armagh Brigade of the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) on a British Army observation post in Drummuckavall, southeast of Crossmaglen, County Armagh, on 22 November 1975. The attack, which occurred along the border with the Republic of Ireland, resulted in the deaths of three British soldiers and underlined the inefficiency of conventional military skills to deal with the situation in South Armagh, prompting the deployment of the Special Air Service (SAS) in this area.

The Falkland Islands general election of 2001 was held on Thursday 22 November 2001 to elect members to the Legislative Council through universal suffrage using block voting. Chief Executive Michael Blanch acted as Chief Counting Officer. The election took place on the same day as the referendum on merging Stanley and the Camp into a elected by proportional representation. At the start of the campaign the Democratic Association, one of the only political parties in the history of the Falkland Islands, had suggested it would field as many as eight candidates. On November 22, 2022, a mass shooting took place at a Walmart in Chesapeake, Virginia, United States. Andre Bing, a night-supervisor at the store, killed six co-workers and injured four others before committing suicide. Bing committed the attack out of perceived workplace harassment, with his suicide note additionally citing "social deficitis" and loneliness.

2024 — 2024 Civic Coalition presidential primary
The 2024 Civic Coalition presidential primary were the third Polish presidential primary election after the 2010 and 2019 primaries for the Civic Platform party. The primary was organized by the coalition following the decision by Donald Tusk not to run for president again (he lost in a runoff to Lech Kaczyński in 2005 and has served as prime minister from 2007 to 2014 and since 2023). Two main candidates emerged: Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski and Mayor of Warsaw, candidate for president in 2020 Rafał Trzaskowski. All parties of the Civic Coalition (Civic Platform, Modern, Polish Initiative, The Greens) were invited to take part in the primaries. The voting took place on 22 November 2024, and the party's nominee, Rafał Trzaskowski, was announced the following day. 22,126 votes were cast in the primary.
